  1. Art Advisory Committee

    The Art Advisory Committee was formed to advise and assist the Township Committee in developing and maintaining the Township’s art collection.

  2. Community Service Award Committee

    Community Service Award recipients are individuals who have demonstrated an outgoing commitment to maintenance of the quality of life in Millburn Township through their efforts and creativity.

  3. Downtown Millburn Development Alliance

    Downtown Millburn is a welcoming, charming, and sophisticated town with a distinctive blend of shops, boutiques, and fine restaurants.

  4. Environmental Commission

    The Millburn Environmental Commission oversees the identification, preservation and protection of the Township’s environmental resources.

  5. Green Team

    The Millburn Township Green Team is working in collaboration with the Green Teams of Maplewood and South Orange on a number of sustainability endeavors for the benefit of all 3 communities.

  6. Historic Preservation Commission

    The Historic Preservation Commission is set in order to safeguard the heritage of the Township by preserving Millburn’s cultural, historical, social archaeological, economic, and architectural resources.

  7. Local Assistance Board

    Public Assistance for needy people who meet eligibility requirements is administered by the Local Assistance Board, as set forth in Title 44 of the state statutes.

  10. Senior Citizen Advisory Board

    The Senior Citizen Advisory Board was formed to serve the senior population of the township. It shall act in an advisory capacity to the Mayor.

  12. Township Committee

    Millburn Township was created by an act of the New Jersey State Legislature on March 20, 1857. Since its incorporation as a municipality in 1857, the Township has operated under the Township Committee form of government.
