2018 Dog Census

Animal Control Officers will conduct a dog census over the next couple of months. The purpose of this census is to ensure that all dogs in the Township are licensed and have up-to-date rabies vaccinations. Animal Control Officers will be going door-to-door, and will have Township issued identification. New Jersey state law requires that all dog owners have their pets licensed and properly vaccinated. An up-to-date license also allows dog owners to participate in the Township’s annual free rabies clinic in the fall.

Dog license fees:

  • Neutered - $18
  • Not neutered - $21

For more information please contact the Health Office at 973-564-7087.
