PSE&G has announced it will replace and upgrade nearly 1.71 miles of gas pipelines within the Township of Millburn over the coming months. Work is set to begin on Monday, May 20 and is estimated to run through July. Crews are scheduled to work Mondays through Fridays, 7:00 a.m. through 5:00 p.m., with some Saturday construction expected. All work is weather permitting.
Residents in work areas will be notified directly by PSE&G about the project via mail, door hangers and social media. More information, including a list of streets and video of how the work is performed, can be accessed at www.pseg.com/gaswork and select “Millburn” from the dropdown, or click here.
Streets that can expect intermittent work and traffic closures include Arden Place, Briarwood Drive, Country Day Drive, Dale Drive, Dorset Lane, Hobart Gap Road, Lee Terrace, Longhill Drive and White Oak Ridge Road.
The Township will share periodic updates regarding the project, including road closure information.
