The historic roof of the Short Hills Train Station will undergo a replacement project this year. Due to the historic status of the building, the Township has selected specially-made roof tiles to match the style and design of the existing roof.
Work begins on or about Wednesday, March 11 and is expected to be completed in four to six weeks, weather permitting. This page will be updated as more information becomes available.
The project will take place on the eastbound side of the Short Hills Train Station, abutting the New York City train line.
Minimal impact to operations of the train station is expected. Parking spaces in Lot #11 will be blocked for storage of materials throughout the length of the project. Boxcar and Liv Breads with both remain open.
