Our Main Street closure has been extended through the fall 2021!

Main Street will close to vehicular traffic between Millburn Avenue and Essex Street on weekends from Friday, September 3 through Sunday, October 31 to allow for outdoor dining and safe gathering. 

Please continue to shop and dine locally here in Millburn Township! As always, we ask that our residents responsibly and respectfully support local while adhering to social distancing guidelines and wearing masks when effective distancing is not feasible.

How can I support local businesses?

  • Buy gift cards now to use later
  • Shop online where you can! Many of our businesses do operate online stores.
  • Call ahead and order for delivery or curbside pickup.
  • Use “no contact delivery” where you pay ahead and food is left on your doorstep.
  • Avoid restaurants if you’re sick or have been recently exposed.
  • Be patient! Many restaurants have fewer employees working.
  • Consider tipping more than you normally would -  your support is greatly appreciated!
