The Records Bureau maintains a record of all incident and motor vehicle accident reports for the police department. In addition, the Records Bureau assists the township prosecutor in preparing discovery for court each week. Records also handles requests for fingerprints, good conduct letters, temporary handicap placards, OPRA requests and processes alarm registrations.
Fingerprints
Residents of Millburn/Short Hills can get non-criminal fingerprints on Wednesdays from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m., or 3:00 to 4:00 p.m., and Thursdays 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. The fee is $10 per card and is payable by check or cash only. Photo identification is required. An appointment must be made one week in advance.
